Cassie Bright Society

Her name was Cassie. In 1901 – when she was utterly alone – she became the first child to join our family. She was 11 years old when she arrived to Methodist Orphanage, now Methodist Home for Children, on January 7, 1901 from Winsteadville.

The Cassie Bright Society recognizes both living and deceased friends who are committed to supporting Methodist Home for Children through a will bequest, trust, charitable gift annuity, retirement plan or insurance policy. We celebrate and honor these generous friends who are dedicated to helping Methodist Home for Children fulfill their obligation to future generations. Countless scholarships and programmatic support have been funded with planned gifts created by those who came before us. And, thanks to you and others like you, Methodist Home for Children will continue to thrive as a leading advocate for children far into the future, benefiting generations to come.

"And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me." Matthew 25:40
